Respond to both press and release
The preview shrinks and moves down while held, then returns to its resting state. It demonstrates input feedback without submitting a form or sending a request.
Start with a visible but restrained press state. Add bounce only if repeated input still feels clear and responsive.
Adjust one spring control at a time
The editor offers press scale, vertical offset, timing and bounce. A duration-based spring controls the visual rhythm; its duration is not an exact settling time.
Physics mode uses stiffness, damping and mass. Change one parameter while comparing holding, releasing and pressing again during recovery.
Check interruption and reduced motion
Repeated input redirects the animation from its current value. Cancellation, loss of focus and window changes must also release the held state.
With the system reduced-motion preference, the preview moves directly to the corresponding state while preserving keyboard input and visible feedback.
