Change only nearby characters
This is not a full-sentence reveal. The effect uses pointer and character positions to affect only nearby non-whitespace characters.
Each touched character recovers independently. Moving the pointer leaves a short local trail rather than restarting the entire sentence.
Inspect recovery speed
Recovery duration comes from the same default configuration as the editor. Compare short and long recovery times to see the difference.
Fixed character cells prevent symbol replacement from shifting the sentence. The interaction radius and character cadence are scene rules, not separate controls in the editor.
Preserve readability
Use this decorative effect carefully for a greeting or short heading. Continuous body text, labels and important instructions benefit from remaining stable.
Playback allows inspection without a hover pointer. With reduced motion enabled, the original text remains unchanged.
